Matthew 28:19-20: Jesus said, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
Disciples are to “Go” and “make disciples,” and this should be the chief essential and top priority of the church. Disciple-making should be the priority of every New Testament Church. Followers of Jesus are to be disciple makers. There are five commissions of Christ in the gospels and Acts (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:14-18; Luke 24:44-49 ; John 20:19-23; Acts 1:4-8).
