Description

Mesopotamia, an ancient region in the east, which today is known as Iraq, but it also takes parts of Iran, Turkey and Syria. The name “Mesopotamia” origins from Greek and means “between two rivers”. It is a suitable name for this region, because there were, and still there are, two rivers – Tigris and Euphrates. On this land began the Mesopotamian civilisation. Mesopotamia was considered and seen as a glamorous region, in which the glamour dwells from the ancient time. It is a region of mystic, in which the magic of the Arabian Nights is still felt.
In this book, the author reflects his amusement with this land and its beauty. He talks about all the places he had visited there and all the things he saw and the way they made him feel. Through the words he has written, he wants to share his impressions of Mesopotamia with the readers.
This is a book, which takes you to another part of the world, in an ancient land, showing you a different culture and all the beauties there are. And by using very vivid description of the places and the things he sees there, you feel like you are really there.
