Description

Poictesme is a planet that served as a home base of the Third Fleet-Army Force during the System States War. It was the general HQ and supply depot for the final attack of the enemy. But, when the war ended, the soldiers left, leaving behind them the buildings, the freeze-dried food supplies and the munitions. The planet lost its financial resource and the inhabitants were poverty-stricken.
None of the things left behind had value, except one thing – MERLIN. According to the rumors, MERLIN was a Cosmic Computer that can solve any problem. Many people were interested in finding it, but no one knew where it could be.
Then, the young Conn Maxwell claims that he has some clues about where could MERLIN be. Conn Maxwell is born and raised at Poictesme, but he moved to Terra with his family. Now, after many years, he wants to return to his home-planet and find the computer. But, Conn doesn’t believe in the existence of the computer and he is sure about its non-existence. And so, Conn leaves Terra and goes to Poictesme.
Then why is he claiming that he knows the location of MERLIN? Why does he lie that he is interested in finding the computer? What is his real intention? Will he accidently find MERLIN?
