After a messy divorce, Christine Maden is desperate to prove to herself and everyone who discouraged her from it how capable she is of excelling in her sports teaching career. So, she decides to take on the impossible task of preparing her school children’s barely complete, mismatched baseball team and guiding them to success. That was until she falls down the stairs and fractured her foot. Enter Joey Branch; arrogant, insufferable, and alive, but well suited and talented enough to take her spot as the baseball coach and lead the children to success. Opposites attract but similar poles don’t, yet Christine and Joey with all of their bickering and disagreements, end up finding comfort in each other's presence. Will Joey and Christine realize that they have more in common than they think? Or will their mutual hot-headedness drive them further and further away from each other?
